Our story began in the early 1990s when Petra Schovancová, the founder of ASPM, was working in Milan at a leading international consultancy firm and subsequently at an associated chartered accountancy firm with an international client portfolio after graduating in Economics from the University of Florence.
Over the last few years, the founder has succeeded in adding specialists with highly specific interdisciplinary skills to the ASPM team, who are now an integral part of the group.
Over the years, the ASPM team has gained numerous and varied clients: national corporations with overseas shareholders, local units of foreign companies, private investor clients in the real estate sector, and staff who have been seconded overseas.
Over time, the ASPM team has established a solid reputation based on its confidentiality and ability to be able to respond to the expectations of its clients in a consistent and timely manner.
The ASPM team currently has offices in Prague and Milan, as well as a network of ad hoc consultants in a range of countries.

Petra Schovancova - Founder
Petra has a degree in Economics and Business and a degree in Economics and Company Administration from the University of Florence. An accountant and auditor enrolled on the Milan register Ordine dei Commercialisti ed esperti contabili di Milano Revisore Contabile , Komora certifikovaných účetníchshe has taken part in a range of university research projects in the ambit of commercial law.
She has gained considerable experience in the management of the internationalisation of companies in various sectors, elaborating on this over the years she’s spent in Italy and the Czech Republic doing business in auditing and management companies in Milan at a leading international consultancy firm. She subsequently specialised in professional studies with a vast client portfolio in the ambit of corporate, tax and accounting problems associated with extraordinary corporate transactions. She has collaborated with the General Consulate of the Czech Republic. She currently assists the governmental agency Czechtrade and other public institutions.
In particular her consultancy focuses on international tax planning, due diligence, company assessments and M&A extraordinary transactions. She is responsible for all the tax, accounting and corporate problems and the structuring of corporate entities of Italian and Czech law.
Sergio Carteny - Partner
Sergio Carteny has a degree in Economics and Banking from the University of Siena. He has gained managerial experience at senior executive level as managing director in Italy and overseas in the oil and gas, food and beverage, real estate and healthcare sectors in top multinational corporations.
Chartered accountant Ordine dei Commercialisti ed esperti contabili di Milano, auditor Revisore Contabile and member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS), he is chairman and chief executive officer of corporations in Italy, the UK, Luxembourg and Malta, member of CPR Comitato Prezzi e rimborsi presso AIFA Agenzia Italiana del Farmaco . His wealth of experience covers a vast range of fields, particularly financial management and auditing, strategic planning, extraordinary finance transactions, industrial and commercial company management consultancy and real estate.
